Your needs come first

Tell us the problem. We’ll help explore the possibilities.

Perhaps staff leave the site to find lunch, guests arrive after your kitchen closes or visitors need everyday essentials. You may already have equipment that is not meeting expectations, or a useful space with no service at all. Tell us what you want to improve; you do not need to choose a machine first.

We bring your requirements into a focused search for potentially suitable independent operators. Rather than approaching multiple companies yourself, you can use VendLocus to coordinate the early conversations and help make proposed options easier to compare. A suitable operator or installation cannot be guaranteed.

Convenience around your opening hours

Explore food, drinks and essentials for the times people actually use your site. Discuss stock availability, replenishment and access with the proposed operator.

A service that fits your team

Explain how much day-to-day involvement your staff can offer. Responsibilities for cleaning, restocking, fault reporting and customer enquiries must be clear before an agreement.

Options that fit the setting

A small reception, busy warehouse and public retail area have different requirements. Space, expected use, security and servicing access matter as much as the equipment.

Where could it help?

Different places. Different priorities.

Business offices

Coffee, snacks, chilled food and micro-markets may support staff and visitors. Tell us about occupancy across the working week and any existing catering.

Industrial sites & warehouses

Shift patterns can make refreshments outside canteen hours valuable. PPE and industrial supplies are further possibilities where an appropriate specialist provider can be identified.

Hotels & accommodation

Explore refreshments and practical essentials for guests, including late arrivals. Consider the lobby setting, guest access and how issues will be reported.

Leisure, gyms & visitor attractions

Consider drinks, food and relevant essentials around the visit. Share opening times, expected use and the needs of your customers.

Hospitals & healthcare

Staff and visitors may need access beyond standard café hours. Site permissions, hygiene requirements, procurement and operational access need particular attention.

Campuses & student settings

Share term-time use, holidays and the needs of residents, students and staff. A format must work through quieter periods as well as peak demand.

Retail & public spaces

Specialist automated retail may complement an existing offer. Security, product suitability, permissions and the operator’s servicing route need checking.

Events & seasonal venues

Tell us dates, duration, utilities and access restrictions at the outset. Temporary provision needs specific confirmation and is not assumed to be available.

How VendLocus works

A simple route from idea
to the right conversation.

01

You tell us what you need

Share your setting and what you would like to improve. You do not need every technical detail to start.

02

We explore suitable operators

We consider equipment types, practical fit and the actual coverage of potential operators.

03

We coordinate introductions

Where there is a potential fit, we coordinate the introduction and help you compare the proposed equipment and service arrangements.

04

Your chosen operator manages the service

You and the operator agree the equipment, installation, stocking, servicing and commercial terms directly.

VendLocus helps with communication and coordination. Identifying details are shared only after the agreed introduction process and your authorised representative’s confirmation. A suitable match or installation is not guaranteed.

A useful first brief

What to tell us about your location.

Your site and decision-maker

Location type, postcode, contact details and your authority to act. If another person approves supplier arrangements, tell us how that decision is made.

People and patterns

Approximate staff or visitor numbers, opening hours, shift patterns and seasonality. Estimates are useful when clearly described as estimates.

Needs and existing facilities

The products or services you want, current equipment, catering provision and what is working or missing. Include any dietary or product preferences.

Space and practical access

Available space, delivery routes, power, water if relevant, connectivity and service access. Photos can help later; avoid including people or confidential information.

Your expectations

Preferred timescale, level of operator management and any restrictions. Say if you want to compare formats rather than request a particular machine.

Your commercial questions

Ask about equipment costs, utilities, product pricing, agreement length, rent or revenue share, service commitments and exit arrangements. These vary by operator.

Useful answers

Before you get started.

What does VendLocus cost my location?

Your location pays no VendLocus introduction fee. This does not mean that equipment, installation, utilities or the operator’s service are free. Any such costs and terms are discussed with the operator before you decide.

Can you guarantee a suitable machine or operator?

No. Coverage, equipment availability, expected demand and site requirements must be checked for each enquiry. We will not describe an illustrative catalogue entry as a confirmed offer.

Can I request several solutions?

Yes. Tell us the needs you want to address, such as coffee, chilled food and essential supplies. We can explore the relevant formats through one point of contact; different solutions may require different operators.

Do you install, stock or repair the equipment?

No. The responsible independent operator manages the equipment and services agreed with you. We help with research, communication and introductions. Confirm service responsibilities and fault-response arrangements directly with the operator.

When will my site details be shared?

Initial operator summaries are limited and reviewed to avoid identifying your site. Identifying details are released only after the agreed introduction process and confirmation from your authorised representative.

What if I already have a vending agreement?

Tell us about any existing arrangements and restrictions. Check your current agreement before committing to changes. An enquiry does not authorise us or an operator to replace existing equipment.

Do I need exact visitor figures or technical drawings?

No. Provide what you know and identify estimates or unknowns. The operator and appropriate site professionals will need to assess technical requirements before proceeding.

Does sending an enquiry commit me to an installation?

No. You remain responsible for assessing proposals and deciding whether to enter a separate agreement. No installation, income or increase in footfall is guaranteed.

One location. Multiple solutions. One point of contact.

Tell us about your business and what you would like to improve. We’ll help you explore the next sensible step.
